Educational Liaison/Exceptional Student Education Advocate Program Overview:
Our Educational Liaison/Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Advocate Program is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for students with diverse learning needs. Tailored to the unique requirements of each individual, this program offers a collaborative approach to academic success and holistic development.
Educational Liaison:
Our educational liaisons serve as compassionate mentors and advocates, guiding students through their educational journey with personalized attention and support. They work closely with students, families, and educators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that each student's needs are met in the classroom and beyond.
ESE Advocate:
Our ESE advocates specialize in advocating for students with exceptionalities, including but not limited to learning disabilities, developmental delays, and physical challenges. They work tirelessly to ensure that students receive the accommodations, resources, and support services they need to thrive academically and socially.

Below are examples of Advocacy Services:
Review of an IEP or 504 Plan and provide recommendations.
Advocate alongside parents at school meetings including IEP meetings, 504 Plan meetings, FBA/PBIP meetings and other school meetings.
Create an environment in school team meetings where parents and students can be heard .
Obtain an initial IEP or 504 Plan.
Assist with obtaining transition services for a student.
Help parents navigate the public school system and understand their rights and the obligations of public schools.
Promote high expectations and independence for students with disabilities.
Work with charter schools to implement an IEP or 504 Plan.
Help families understand how the Family Empowerment Scholarship works and provide transparency in the Family Empowerment Scholarship funding process.
